Globalization brings change in various employment sector. It demands quality and skillfull workplace in various sectors. It changes the duties and functions of Secretaries The globalization demands secretaries competent and professional. Each secretary should be able to respond quickly to changes in the environment,able to work in a team, be creative, be innovative and be communicative. Thus, he/she can be an ambassador of the company. The duties of a secretary are not only doing routine, incidental or creative works, he/she must also process relevant skills, knowledge and attitude through an ongoing learning process. The duties of secretary in the era of globalization is no longer in charge of administrative duties. Nowadays, a secrtary must process managerial skills in order to enhance brand image and in also required to have as to assumed authority in order to become a more content secretary. This can be considered as a position strength; namely strength of knowledge, strength of attitude, strength of action, strength of relationship and strength of trust.
